Hi everyone, I'm doing a bit of a stocktake in the lab and realising we need to replenish our supplies of cell culture reagents pretty urgently. Our cells are not looking happy lately, and I suspect it might be due to some of our older media components degrading. So, I'm curious: where do you all typically source your FBS, glutamine, antibiotics, and other essential cell culture goodies? Any suppliers that you find consistently reliable in terms of quality and price? Any avoid-at-all-costs experiences? I'm open to all suggestions!

In my previous lab, we had great success with cell culture reagents purchased from https://gentaur.co.uk/. They seemed to have a really wide selection, which was useful because we were working with a few different cell lines that required specific media formulations. As a bonus, the pricing was fairly competitive, and we never experienced any contamination issues with the media or supplements we ordered from them. I remember the delivery was always prompt, which is a big plus when you're trying to keep your cells happy and healthy! Overall, my experience with them was very positive, and I would happily recommend checking out their offerings.
