Image Transformation Therapy 5th Edition Second Revision
The second revision introduces the Image Creation Protocol (ICP). The ICP creates an image in the person's psyche to energize a person's capacity for living life.
This edition of Image Transformation Therapy offers still more breakthroughs in psychological treatment that build upon the developments presented in earlier editions. The fifth edition of the book introduces a new approach for resolving the issues of childhood emotional neglect. Emotional neglect is often the foundation of dysfunctional behaviors such as addictions. The concept of the Psychological Self is developed for understanding and targeting the impact of neglect. The feelings generated by neglect, the Sensations of Absence and the Sensations of Destruction, are released using one of the release protocols. The result is that a person no longer has to try to overcome feelings such as emptiness or being invisible. They're just not there.
For the treatment of traumatic memories and negative cognitions, the Fifth Edition presents additional breakthroughs by releasing sensations to de-energize the memories. As described in earlier editions, ImTT offers breakthroughs in the treatment of trauma, OCD, depression, anxiety. Intense feelings, such as terror, pain, guilt, and shame. These feelings, which are often a major obstacle to treatment, can be released without the person having to feel them. This prevents flooding and dissociating during treatment.
