ImTT is uniquely suited for crisis management. Suicidal feelings, depression, pain, and intense anxiety can create a crisis in a person's life. ImTT can be useful in helping a person release some of the feelings that are overwhelming them. For example, a person who is suicidal is usually suicidal because they are experiencing intense pain. The person does not really want to kill themselves, rather he just wants to be out of pain.
In these types of crisis situations, the Pain/Terror Release Protocol can be used to release the intense pain, terror, or depression that the person is experiencing without the person having to talk about his situation. The result of using the P/TRP in this situation is that, once the person has calmed down, he can discuss his problems without becoming overwhelmed with feelings. The person is then capable of psychological treatment. The need for medication is minimized.
Pain Release Audio (MP3)
The Pain Release Audio download can be used to release emotional pain. Put yourself into a comfortable position with legs uncrossed.
Remember, you do not need to intensely experience the pain in order to release it. If fact, feeling the pain interferes with the release of the pain.
This audio can be used to release any feeling other than shock or frozen.
The two different audios presented here are only different in the length of time between instructions—30 or 40 seconds. Use whichever one is more useful for you.
The feeling of "frozen" blocks or incapacitates a person from being able to do things that are not actually difficult for the person to do. The results of this incapacity include feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, and procrastination. This "frozen" feeling can be released with this protocol.
